MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Joseph Freeman, Dr. Rachel Steiner Freeman, and Dr. Chase Rogers
Dr. Joseph Freeman
Dr. Joseph Freeman was raised in Centreville, Alabama and is a graduate of Bibb County High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science from The University of Alabama in 2009. During this time, he helped as an assistant coach of The University of Alabama men’s wheelchair basketball team. While playing sports growing up, he experienced back pain which began to hinder him from playing to his full potential. He decided to see his hometown chiropractor for treatment and after a few visits, his back pain was gone. He always knew he wanted to work in the health field, but after witnessing and experiencing positive results, Dr. Joseph chose to pursue his studies in the chiropractic field. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida and graduated with his doctorate in March 2014. During his education he became specialized in numerous techniques including: Gonstead, Thompson Drop, Graston, and Pettibon. Dr. Joseph treated a wide scope of patients in clinicals such as athletes, children, and the elderly. Dr. Joseph is also fully certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association which is specific to expecting mothers and aligning the pelvis that allows for optimal fetal positioning. He is the only doctor in a 25 mile radius of Tuscaloosa with this certification. He spent many weekends treating patients at sporting events including local 5k’s, Tai Kwando tournaments, and United States Tennis Association matches. He also volunteered at a women’s rehab center, helping those battling addiction. While in chiropractic school, Dr. Joseph met Dr. Rachel Steiner and they were married on October 11th, 2014. On March 30th, 2017 they welcomed their first born son, Briggs Jeffrey Freeman. In Dr. Joseph's spare time he enjoys working out, boating, watching football (ROLL TIDE!), spending time with his family and friends, attending Safe Haven church, and relaxing with his wife and two sons. Dr. Joseph’s goals are to teach his patients the chiropractic principles, establish healthy habits into their daily lives, and build their own wellness future. Dr. Joseph’s favorite thing about chiropractic is that he can help guide individuals to maximize their God given potential when there is no interference of the nervous system.
